Speed testers say AT&T 5G claims are dubious at best as carriers clamor to build faster networks

Last week, AT&T proudly crowned itself as ďthe nationís fastest wireless network,Ē buoyed by speed tests from Ookla and its misleadingly named 5G E ó i.e., LTE ó network. But thereís just one problem: as Ookla has taken the time to point out in a blog post, AT&Tís claim isnít nearly as resounding of a victory as the company has declared.
