Sony Raises PlayStation Vue Streaming Prices $5 Monthly For All Users

Several standalone online TV streaming services have raised prices in recent months and now Sony is following suit for its PlayStation Vue service. The company has confirmed in a blog post that it’s raising the price of PlayStation Vue packages by $5 across the board. All packages will now cost $5 more than they previously did. Sony is far from the only TV streaming service operator to raise prices. Sling and YouTube TV have taken similar steps in recent months while AT&T announced a price increase for DirecTV just a couple of days ago.Sony hasn’t really said why it’s increasing the cost of these packages, it just says that this decision has been made due to “rising business costs.”PlayStation Vue offers four packages – Access, Core, Elite and Ultra – all of which will now cost $5 more than they did before.
