Mortal Kombat 11 Announced With A Brutal Cinematic Teaser Trailer

Last month it was reported that during the Game Awards, Mortal Kombat 11 could be announced. Given that Mortal Kombat X was announced in 2015, we suppose it does feel like it is as good a time as any to announce a sequel. If you’re a fan of the franchise, then you’ll be happy to learn that the rumors are true.The game was officially announced with the release of the trailer, which in Mortal Kombat tradition, is still as gory as ever. We’re not sure if the trailer is based on actual in-game footage or if it is a cinematic trailer, but given the quality of Mortal Kombat X and how the game has evolved over the years from pixelated gore back in the day, we wouldn’t be surprised if the trailer above is indeed based on in-game graphics.Unfortunately the trailer doesn’t really tell us much about the game in terms of what we can expect, but presumably all the core features of Mortal Kombat will remain.
