Gamers Are Upset That Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Is Free-To-Play

Last week Valve made an interesting decision by announcing that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) will now be free-to-play. The game was never particularly expensive but we suppose by removing the cost of the game, it would open it up to more gamers, which is a good thing, right?Unfortunately it doesnít seem that many CS:GO players believe that is the case. The game is now being reviewed bombed on Steam where over 25,000 players have since left negative reviews following Valveís decision. From what we gather, it isnít so much that players are upset that a game that they paid for is now free.Instead it seems that players are upset with the influx of new players which some believe will lead to an increase in cheating. CS:GO has been plagued with issues regarding cheating in the past, and even in the professional circuit the game isnít immune from it, where a professional was actually caught cheating during a live tournament.Whether or not these fears are unfounded is unclear, but safe to say that many a
