Microsoft launches Xbox Live Creators Program

Microsoft confirmed its Xbox Live Creators Program several months back. The program will enable developers to directly publish games to the Xbox One or Windows 10 PCs. Game developers can do that starting today as the company has officially launched the Xbox Live Creators Program. The first self-published games are also available starting today. They are listed in a special section on the Xbox Store titled “Creators collection.” Only nine self-published games are available in the Creators collection as of now but it goes without saying that the list will grow as more developers publish their indie games on their own for Xbox One and Windows 10.The certification process for Creators collection games has been simplified and developers no longer require any concept approval.
