Microsoft Debuts In-Game Chat Transcription For Windows 10 And Xbox One

Do you like to talk trash when you’re playing games online? Would you like transcripts of all of the colorful things you say as you’re blasting enemies on your way to victory? Allow Microsoft to help. The company has started rolling out a new game chat transcription feature for Xbox One and Windows 10. The feature will automatically convert in-game voice communications with fellow players into text. This pilot feature will soon be available on Xbox One and Windows 10. Halo Wars 2 is the first game to have support for game chat transcription. The feature can convert in-game voice chats to text or typed text into audio.This obviously makes a lot of sense as an accessibility feature but it’s also geared towards those gamers who don’t necessarily want to listen to audio or would like to block or mute certain players. They can also use this feature to have a record of all the very nice things they say to fellow players during an intense match.The feature will likely be supported in games
