MSI Teases AMD Radeon RX 5700 Mech OC Family Of Custom Cards With Axial Fans

A recent report from French media outlet Cowcotland had claimed that AMD’s Radeon VII graphics card had reached its End of Life status. This would mean the company will no longer be producing the Radeon VII. AMD has responded to the claim but it’s a rather cryptic response which doesn’t say clearly whether or not this graphics card will continue to be produced. The Radeon VII was a special product for the company has it allowed AMD to showcase that it could bring a 7nm graphics card to the market. However, the gaming community didn’t really pick it up with much zeal. Since the arrival of the Radeon RX 5700 XT, it would now make more sense for AMD to focus on this GPU instead of the Radeon VII.Its $699 price is considerably higher than the 5700 XT’s $399 even though it lags behind the Radeon VII by an average of just 3.8 percent.
