With the popularity of smartwatches steadily increasing and companies like Tag Heuer coming out with their second-generation Android Wear smartwatches, how can Swatch stay behind? The Swatch Group has said that it’s developing its own smartwatch operating system which will be an alternative to the existing operating systems that power most of the smartwatches available in the market today. Swatch CEO Nick Hayek has confirmed today that the company’s Tissot brand is going to introduce its first smartwatch model by the end of next year.
