Apple eyes starpower for launch of new streaming service

Sometimes Apple holds an event in the early part of the year where they announce hardware refreshes for existing products. In a new report from Bloomberg, it seems that Apple will indeed be hosting such an event this year, but this time it could be a slightly different event as it will be quite a star-studded one. According to the report, Apple is set to host an event on the 25th of March where we could see the likes of Hollywood elites such as Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner and director JJ Abrams attend. Apparently this event will be where Apple will officially launch their long-rumored video and news subscription service. This seems to contradict an earlier report which claims that Apple’s video service could be launching in April. However it is possible that the event might see the service officially announced, while its availability might only arrive in April.
