YouTube's "Device Report" tells you how good your smartphone is for watching

In our hands-on review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, we pointed out how like Samsung other flagship phones in the past, the Note 9 is packing a beautiful display. The good news for those who are eyeing the handset is that it looks like watching Netflix on it will be a fantastic experience, namely because of how Netflix can be watched in HD and HDR on the handset.This is according to Netflix’s Help Center page (via AndroidPIT) in which under the sections HD and HDR, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been listed. We suppose it was safe to assume that a high-end flagship like the Note 9 would support it, but it’s good to know that it has been made official via the listing.The list of devices is quite long so if you own an Android phone or tablet and want to know if it’s supported, you can take a look yourself. In the meantime Netflix’s HD and HDR aren’t the only things the Note 9 supports. During Samsung’s presentation, the company mentioned how it was a YouTube Signature Device.
