Apple has already run out of replacement iPhone batteries

There has been a lot of coverage about Apple’s decision to intentionally slow down iPhones with old batteries over the past week. Even though it offered an explanation, the company had to take a lot of criticism for the fact that it basically slowed down customers’ iPhones without telling them. It later issued an apology and promised to replace out of warranty batteries for $29 instead of the normal $79 fee. However, it appears that the $29 battery replacements for the iPhone 6 Plus have been delayed for a couple of months. Apple is only going to replace out of warranty batteries for the iPhone 6 and newer devices. The offer is valid until the end of this year and brings down the normal replacement of $79 to $29.It’s not that Apple is intentionally making things difficult for iPhone 6 Plus owners who want to get the battery replaced. According to a new report, the intense demand for new batteries has caused a supply constraint on replacement batteries for the iPhone 6 Plus.Apple has report
